Our Semantic Cloud API is now deployed in the Amazon computing cloud. This gives us virtually unlimited scaling capabilities to support client applications.
This is the same API that powers SenseBot and LinkSensor.
The API supports SOAP and REST protocols (HTTP GET or POST).
The idea is to empower semantic startups or any ventures that are looking to utilize an affordable high-quality semantic solution to build their applications.
Semantic API features include:
• extraction of semantic concepts from a page or document;
• creating a “semantic cloud” of concepts describing a group of documents;
• generating a multi-document summary of a set of pages;
• generating an essay on a topic based on a set of documents.
Multiple parameters allow the client to control the type and format of results.
Note that the API can be deployed not only in the US but on servers in Europe as well, which would provide for faster response times for world users.
There are 2 main types of API calls:
ExtractConcepts method takes a document HTTP URL as input and returns a list of key semantic concepts extracted from the document.
CreateSummary method takes a set of HTTP URLs as input and returns a multi-document summary of the sources, and/or a list of key semantic concepts.
Detailed API documentation is here: API documentation.
The pricing is based on a monthly subscription dependent on the requested bandwidth of the API.
There are 2 standard packages of different capacity:
• Small Virtual Search Server: approximately 40K ExtractConcepts requests a day.
• Large Virtual Search Server: approximately 80K ExtractConcepts requests a day, or 15K CreateSummary requests a day, or a combination.
You can have many servers of one type or both types.
Smaller chunks of requests can also be ordered.
Free trial is available!
We can create a custom application based on the API for your business!
